Opelousas Catholic does not operate the cafeteria; it is a service provided by the Diocese of Lafayette and as such is governed by the diocesan office of Food & Nutrition. Visit the Diocese of Lafayette- Food & Nutrition Services website for more information about meal prices, free & reduced lunch applications, payments, modifications, and more. 

Families are encourage to apply for free/reduced lunch. The income guidelines have recently been revised so more students will qualify. Because of this, we encourage everyone to apply. When completing the application, please indicate the parish as "Diocese of Lafayette." If you have a medical card, receive SSI or SNAP, you are eligible. You must apply if you want the benefit, it is not automatic. If 50% of our students qualify, lunches become free for the entire student body.
