The Opelousas Catholic Senate Installation was held in church, April 25, 2018. Current president Lauren Miller conducted the program with the assistance of Savannah Hidalgo, vice president. Installed as 2018-2019 Senators were Destiny Broussard, Alyssa Chachere, Morgan Charles, Amanda Knott, Lora Charles, Mary Collins, Amy Claire Miller, Jon Ross Miller, Katie Wagley, Taylor Gautreaux, Olivia Hebert, Aubry Hidalgo, Ivory Luna, Emily Richard, Rhett Bergeron, Anna Kate Emonet, Brailey Major, Marilyn Moody, and Jaren St. Clair. Also included was Marsha Savage who was not present due to another school activity.

Senate officers for next year will be Destiny Broussard, President; Madeleine Sylvester, Vice President; Alyssa Chachere, Secretary; Marsha Savage, Historian; and Morgan Charles, Treasurer. Congratulations to these student leaders!
