The key to the students’ experience at Opelousas Catholic School is involvement and participation in the school community.  Students have daily opportunities to participate, present, and produce within their classes as well as in various activities and events.  One of the most important aspects of this is through our weekly Mass and special Prayer Services. The students also participate in service learning through our Ministry Hours programs for both students and families. 

Even though we serve five owner parishes, our students experience connection with our parishes through the involvement of the priests and ministers here at school, as well as through their own participation in parish ministries and activities. 
Opelousas Catholic provides a variety of co-curricular activities including athletics, clubs, and the arts.
