Two members of the  Ragin' Cajuns Powerlifting team won national championships and five were named All-Americans at the  USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals last weekend. The men’s team took second place overall and the women’s team took fifth. Andy Bui was named the National Champion in the men's 53kg weight class and Carmen Reiss is the National Champion in the women's 57Kg weight class. Five members of the team became All-Americans: Bui, Reiss, Michael Ebanks, Jared Naquin and Roland Whitney. Head coach Kyle Ramsey, assistant coaches Jamie and Andrew Reese and 24 members of the powerlifting team attended Nationals in College Station, Texas, April 18-22, at Texas A&M.
