Each year, the NCEA recognizes distinguished Catholic graduates throughout the country. OC is very proud to recognize Mr. Richard Gaiennie as our distinguished graduate this year.

Richard Gaiennie graduated from OCS in 1984 and has done many wonderful things for our community since his time at OC. His company, Gaiennie Lumber, employs many local families, providing jobs and benefits for the people of our community. Mr. Gaiennie has been very generous in giving back to his alma mater throughout the years, regularly contributing his time and resources, and he strongly supports the Catholic Church.

Mr. Gaiennie has demonstrated what it means to be an Opelousas Catholic Viking, and we congratulate him on his acheivements.
