September 8, 2020Congratulations to Opelousas Catholic high school student Clayton Fontenot who was one of the honored recipients of the Lt. Father Joseph Verbis Lafleur Endowment Scholarship. Clayton was chosen for his outstanding qualities, and it was presented to him at the special mass in St. Landry Catholic Church celebrated by Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel who opened the Cause for Canonization for Fr. Lafleur.
