May 11, 2021Two outstanding Opelousas Catholic students were recognized with the Black Advocates for Life Emerging Leaders Scholarship. Dr. Kathy Allen, State Director for Louisiana Black Advocates for Life, made the presentations to McKenzie Chevis, 10th grade; and Brailey Major, 11th grade for their spirit, academics and leadership skills as emerging leaders! The $4,000 scholarships will assist them in completing their education at Opelousas Catholic School. OCS is very proud of these two young ladies!
